Hello World! The Wandering Tortugas Family Blog!
Allow us to introduce ourselves! Joan, family manager and chief realist (pessimist), Seth, family dreamer and cheerleader, and Eleanor, family love coordinator and moment appreciator, and we are the Wandering Tortugas! Originally from Orlando, FL, Birmingham, AL, Clemson, SC and now Fort Collins, Colorado, we are off on our next adventure to the Southern Hemisphere and Montevideo, Uruguay! Our departure is scheduled for Summer '24. The family is looking to experience a different culture, learn a new language, see what we miss about the USA, and what the States could learn from Uruguay. Seth grew up overseas as a missionary kid and loved the experiences and friendships that came from that. Joan proposed this family adventure and we could not be more excited!
